Cleveland’s west side is easily accessible from I-90 and close to Lake Erie so you can stop and take some beautiful pictures in between your ceremony and reception. We’ve compiled a list of our top 5 west side wedding venues, all within about 30 minutes of Downtown Cleveland, to show you the west side is the best side.

  • Springvale Ballroom – Located in North Olmsted next to its beautiful 18-hole public golf course, Springvale hosts events inside its ballroom facilities and out on the green. Or, if you want a little of both, Springvale boasts expansive windows showing breathtaking views of the landscaped lawns and beautiful sky, providing an indoor wedding with an outdoor feel. 
  • Lake Erie Building – The Lake Erie Building is located in Lakewood’s historic Birdtown Neighborhood at the corner of Halstead and Athens avenues. Also known as the Screw Factory, this nearly 100-year-old building is part of a large, 18-acre complex originally used to manufacture Templar Motor Cars. It now houses factories, warehouses, offices, a winery, event space and studios for art, craft, fitness and dance. In fact, it is home to the well-known artist collective Screw Factory Artists.
  • LaCentre Conference & Banquet Facility – Located about 25 minutes from Cleveland off of I-90 on Detroit Road, LaCentre offers a range of venue options for your wedding ceremony and/or reception. With accommodations for anywhere from 50 to 650 guests, as well as wedding coordination services and audiovisual and design consultations, LaCentre is a perfect west side wedding choice. 
  • Brennan’s Catering & Banquet Center – If you’ve driven down I-90 near Triskett Road, you’ve probably seen Brennan’s Catering & Banquet Center from the freeway. Since 1984, this family-owned business has provided both food and venue space for Cleveland-area newlyweds. Featuring four different banquet rooms of varying sizes that can accommodate 50 to 500 guests and an outdoor park-like setting ideal for picture-taking, Brennan’s commitment to personal service and excellent cuisine will ensure the success of your event. 
  • Lenau Park – Lenau Park on Columbia Road is home to the Cleveland Donauschwaben German-American Cultural Center, but you don’t need to be German to enjoy this venue! There are several spaces on the property available to host your perfect wedding, including the Main Hall, Party Room, Foyer, Auxiliary Room and Pavilion/Gazebo.

They were very thorough in making sure our day looked how we wanted it to. On the actual wedding day, they kept our reception lively and on time! They were able to read the crowd well and with our recommendations in mind. I was so worried our wedding would have an empty dancefloor considering the big age range and being hard to appeal to lots of generations, but th did so seamlessly. After a lot of shopping around during wedding planning, I believe the price of their services is of good value. As an add-on, I also opted to do uplighting. This was battery powered and had dynamic color-changing. The battery powered part is important for older venues that may not have as many outlets, and also avoids the trip hazard of too many wires on the floor. All and all 10/10 experience. Thank you!

We cannot recommend SPE enough!!! From the planning to the actual day of the wedding the  team were so professional and wonderful. We did our engagement photos and our wedding day photos with Cufflink Media and they did a great job with taking her time to understand what we wanted as a couple for the photos. All the photographers and videographers for the day of the wedding were great with communicating throughout the whole day both with eachother and us. The djs had the dance floor rocking all night!!! He knew how to get everyone out there of all ages. The price for what we got was very reasonable. I would 100% recommend this company to anyone getting married you will not be disappointed! Do you offer Photo & Video?

Absolutely! While our DJs are pretty talented, we’ve learned it’s probably best if they stick to mixing music instead of trying to balance a camera while running the dance floor. 😅

For photo & video, we proudly partner with Cufflink Media — an incredible team that shares the same energy, professionalism, and attention to detail that we’re known for. Together, we help create a seamless wedding experience so your biggest moments not only feel unforgettable in the moment, but look incredible for years to come.

Do you work with other vendors?

Yes! While we have partnerships with Cufflink Media, we do not require you use them exclusively. You can always book us independently and we’ll ensure that all vendors are on the same page throughout the entire planning process and evening.

How do I secure my date?

We ask that when you are ready to book, you give us a signed contract and a $800 deposit. The initial deposit comes off the final balance. After that, you are locked in to your date. Payment plans are available, but we do not require the final balance until a week before your wedding.

Are there any hidden fees?

No. All prices you see include tax, set-up & tear-down, and travel to most places. When paying with credit card there is a 3.8% convenience fee. No fees when paying by check or cash.
