While Christian Hinton is a fairly new face to Sound Precision Entertainment, he quickly rose through the ranks to become an integral part of the company.
Originally from Ravenna, Hinton now resides in Cleveland and is a student at Cleveland State University studying journalism. His interest in DJing comes from his stepfather, who worked as a DJ when Hinton was a child and taught him about equipment and setup.
Hinton joined SPE about four months ago, showing off his writing skills in the role of blog writer and social media manager. He writes a weekly article series called “One-Week Anniversary” that provides an overview on the weddings from the previous weekend and keep ups with SPE’s social media, aiming to gain a larger following for the business. Hinton also assists at many of SPE’s Cleveland wedding events.
“My favorite part of the job is entertaining the guests and seeing the smiles of excitement on their faces when another dance hit comes on,” Hinton said.
He has been professional blog writing for about three years, mostly with a popular Cleveland sports website CleSportsTalk.com. His dream is to be a sports writer and media personality on a major sports outlet.
“I think the type of people Cleveland athletes are – blue collar, everyday people – draw me to them,” Hinton said. “I feel like I’m a part of the team.”
In his free time, Hinton enjoys playing basketball, spending time with friends and watching any and every Cleveland sport.

Who or what inspires you?
I suppose my goals inspire me to do what I need to do. I have big goals but not ones that I believe I can’t achieve. If I would have to pick a person or subject that inspires me, my biggest inspiration has come from the music I listen to.
What wedding advice would you give a couple?
Remember love is not a noun but a verb. Remember to love more and more everyday, even if it means finding new, small things to love. In my opinion, building that idea of loving actively can make marriages happier.
What song gets you pumped up for an event?
“Humble” by Kendrick Lamar.
What is a fun fact about you?
I am a really big comic book nerd. I collect comics and know basically everything there is to know about certain characters.
Who is your favorite superhero?
Batman. He has been my favorite since I was a kid, and I literally know everything about him.
If you had one superpower, what would it be?
Being able to transport anywhere on Earth in a second. I would check out cool world events, concerts and things like that.
