Cleveland Wedding Venue Spotlight: The Lakehouse Inn

Geneva-on-the-Lake is a beautiful village on Cleveland’s east side with stunning scenery and a small-town feel. One of the beautiful wedding venues in this area is The Lakehouse Inn. With gorgeous views of the lakefront, The Lakehouse Inn provides an all-inclusive wedding experience. The property features a full-production winery, farm-to-table restaurant, spa, bed and breakfast with eight guest rooms, three cottages and a beach house rental.

The spa can accommodate wedding beauty services such as facials, manicures and pedicures, relaxation massages and more. The restaurant, Crosswinds Grille, is perfect for meals and features local ingredients from Northeast Ohio producers and purveyors.

The Lakehouse Inn is also within walking distance of “The Strip,” which features a number of small shops, eateries and taverns for you and your guests!

The Lakehouse Inn offers several different wedding packages to accommodate your needs:

Small Wedding Package: Ceremony setup on upper level patio with sweeping views of Lake Erie; three hours, including time for the ceremony (additional time $500 per hour); up to 32 guests (including bride, groom and bridal party); ceremony and reception setup and teardown; tables and chairs; wedding cake cutting service; bridal suite for two nights with a gourmet breakfast basket each morning. $4,295 plus cost of food and beverages.

Traditional Wedding Package: Ceremony set p on upper level patio with sweeping views of Lake Erie; three hours, including time for the ceremony (additional time $500 per hour); ceremony and reception setup and teardown; tables and chairs; wedding cake cutting service; use of all eight guest rooms in bed & breakfast for two nights; one hour allotted rehearsal time; on-site coordinator. This package is not available July-August. Up to 50 guests – $8,199.

Ceremony Only or Vow Renewal: Use of lakefront patio; one hour, including time for ceremony; up to 50 guests. $1,600-$2,200 + taxes and fees.

The “Just Us” Elopement Package: Two-night stay in one of the suites; gourmet breakfast basket delivered to your room the following morning; specialty welcome basket of goodies, including a bottle of Lakehouse Inn wine and two souvenir wine glasses; ceremony for two in the location of your choice; non-denominational minister to perform the ceremony; champagne toast following the ceremony. $926-$1770.

The Deluxe Elopement Package: Two-night stay in one of the suites for the bride and groom; breakfast basket served directly to each room each morning; specialty welcome basket of goodies, including a bottle of Lakehouse Inn wine and two souvenir wine glasses; wedding ceremony for the bride and groom and up to 10 guests; use of the upper patio for the ceremony for up to one hour with chairs provided; non-denominational minister to perform the ceremony; champagne toast following the ceremony for bride, groom and guests. $1126-2616

They were very thorough in making sure our day looked how we wanted it to. On the actual wedding day, they kept our reception lively and on time! They were able to read the crowd well and with our recommendations in mind. I was so worried our wedding would have an empty dancefloor considering the big age range and being hard to appeal to lots of generations, but th did so seamlessly. After a lot of shopping around during wedding planning, I believe the price of their services is of good value. As an add-on, I also opted to do uplighting. This was battery powered and had dynamic color-changing. The battery powered part is important for older venues that may not have as many outlets, and also avoids the trip hazard of too many wires on the floor. All and all 10/10 experience. Thank you!

We did our engagement photos and our wedding day photos with Cufflink Media and they did a great job with taking her time to understand what we wanted as a couple for the photos. All the photographers and videographers for the day of the wedding were great with communicating throughout the whole day both with eachother and us. The djs had the dance floor rocking all night!!! Do you offer Photo & Video?

Absolutely! While our DJs are pretty talented, we’ve learned it’s probably best if they stick to mixing music instead of trying to balance a camera while running the dance floor. 😅

For photo & video, we proudly partner with Cufflink Media — an incredible team that shares the same energy, professionalism, and attention to detail that we’re known for. Together, we help create a seamless wedding experience so your biggest moments not only feel unforgettable in the moment, but look incredible for years to come.

Do you work with other vendors?

Yes! While we have partnerships with Cufflink Media, we do not require you use them exclusively. You can always book us independently and we’ll ensure that all vendors are on the same page throughout the entire planning process and evening.

How do I secure my date?

We ask that when you are ready to book, you give us a signed contract and a $800 deposit. The initial deposit comes off the final balance. After that, you are locked in to your date. Payment plans are available, but we do not require the final balance until a week before your wedding.

Are there any hidden fees?

No. All prices you see include tax, set-up & tear-down, and travel to most places. When paying with credit card there is a 3.8% convenience fee. No fees when paying by check or cash.
