The former 100th Bomb Group, which closed after 37 years during the COVID-19 pandemic, is reopening as The Aviator Event Center & Pub, a venue for weddings and other social gathering. The venue will open this year, but couples can tour the the space, which has a modern aviation theme, now by booking a time via the website.
The Aviator offers full wedding planning services, including catering and floral and photography teams, according to its website. The venue created specially designed packages for each couple as opposed to “cookie-cutter” offering and even created a best-in-class app to help optimize the planning process.
“We will pride ourselves on offering our customers a ‘one-stop shop’ venue with chef-inspired
menus, complete event planning and entertainment above the rest,” Owner and President Khadar Soussou said in a statement.

- Flight Event Space: White marble dance floor with a capacity of 400 guests.
- Gabriella’s Space: Stone wall room with a white oak dance floor and capacity of 120 guests.
- Maria’s Place: Oak wood room with a capacity of 70 guests.
