For nearly 25 years, the Great Lakes Science Center has been a staple along Cleveland’s lakefront. You may be familiar with the iconic center, which boasts more than 300,000 visitors per year and hundreds of exhibits, as a family and educational destination. However, the Great Lakes Science Center is also available for private events, including wedding ceremonies and receptions.
The venue has unique indoor and outdoor spaces, and you can customize packages to fit your needs. For example, you may choose one of the outdoor decks or the harbor-level patio for a ceremony on the lake, or you can choose to say “I do” on the front lawn with the downtown Cleveland cityscape in the background. Indoors, the Great Lakes Science Center offers exhibit galleries, the mezzanine, the alcove or the promenade atrium for your cocktail hour and reception. You may also combine spaces or rent the entire museum!
The center’s in-house catering service, Levy, serves menus ranging from traditional to gourmet and informal to formal. Levy’s menu changes regularly and features modern spins on Midwestern classics and a focus on seasonality and sustainability.
Great Lakes Science Center has an attached 500-car parking garage that provides easy access through an enclosed connector with self-parking and valet options. Guest parking is complimentary with some packages or available for a fee with others.
