La Vera Party Center in Willoughby Hills is a spacious, newly remodeled two-room banquet and conference facility that can accommodate weddings ranging from 100-720 guests.
Now in its third generation of ownership, the center originated with Larry and Vera Gaudio, grandparents of current owners Carl Santagata and Anthony Verdone, who started a catering business in 1952. The family uses the same homemade Italian recipes as their grandparents.
Couples can choose one or both of La Vera Party Center’s rooms. The Tuscan Room, which can seat up to 350 guests, includes imported chandeliers and ornate architecture. The Crystal Room, on the other hand, features crystal chandeliers and vaulted ceilings with a seating capacity of 340 guests.
Meal options include buffet style, family style and plate style. There are also hors d’oeuvres and late-night snack options.
All wedding packages include room rental for 5.5 hours, Chivari chairs, table lines and napkins with choice of color, mirror and Eiffel Tower centerpieces, champagne toast for the bridal party, state-of-the-art video projector and screen, complimentary WiFi, service staff including bartenders, bar washes, coffee and tea service, china and silverware, coat room attendant and access to an event manager to coordinate the event.
