The ’90s gave us more than neon clothing, snap bracelets and scrunchies (although these are, strangely enough, all coming back into fashion more than 20 years later). The decade also produced some of the most romantic love songs, featured in some of the biggest movies of the time, such as “The Bodyguard,” “Armageddon” and “City of Angels,” and still played on the radio regularly today.
Break out your cassette player to listen to these ’90s first dance suggestions, which are still as powerful today as they were then:
1. Kiss Me – Sixpence None the Richer (1997)
2. You’re Still the One – Shania Twain (1997)
3. (Everything I Do) I Do It For You – Bryan Adams (1991)
4. I Swear – All-4-One (1994)
5. More Than Words – Extreme (1990)
6. How Do I Live – LeAnn Rimes (1997)
7. I Will Always Love You – Whitney Houston (1992)
8. I Don’t Want To Miss a Thing – Aerosmith (1998)
9. Because You Loved Me – Celine Dion (1996)
10. Iris – Goo Goo Dolls (1998)
