Visit Sound Precision Entertainment and Cuff Link Media at the Today’s Bride Show in Cleveland, conveniently located at the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland, 300 Lakeside Ave. E, Cleveland, OH 44113! The event features more than 150 Northeast Ohio wedding vendors, including dress shops, hair and makeup stylists, travel agents, bakeries and, of course, DJs and photographers. These businesses will provide wedding advice, price quotes, discounts and giveaways. You can even book your favorites right on the spot! Don’t miss out on this important event, which takes place Saturday, April 10, and Sunday, April 11, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

“It’s the biggest bridal show in Ohio!” said Abby Frericks, client services manager at Today’s Bride, who gave SPE the scoop on this exciting upcoming show. “There is nowhere else you’ll be able to find this many vendors and such a wide variety of vendors at one time. You can book your DJ, your photographer, find a venue and caterer, secure a florist all in one day – it will save you time from going to visit all these vendors individually.”

And with COVID-19 safety precautions in place, you’ll still be able to get the full show experience to help plan your upcoming wedding.

Admission

General admission is $15 at the door or $10 online. Entrance times are in 30-minute intervals. Because of COVID-19 restrictions, groups are limited to four people per party. If you have more than four people, please split your group and keep your distance while walking the show floor.
Also don’t forget that the show has moved this year! While previously located at the I-X Center, which is now closed, the show is now at the Huntington Convention Center.

Exhibits

Keep an eye out for the Inspiration Galleries, which include décor, reception tables, photography, dresses and cakes. Frericks said it is like a bride’s Pinterest board came to life!

“Brides will be able to see everything up close and personal,” she said. “They’ll find ideas and trends they hadn’t thought about.”
You also don’t want to miss out on Limo Row, which includes eight full-size limos that you can enter and exit.

Another highlight is the ring cleaning station: Sunshine of Ohio will polish you ring for free! They’ll also be selling their cleaning products for a discounted rate.

Finally, you absolutely don’t want to miss out on the vendors – the highlight of the show!

“There is something for absolutely everyone, whether a bride just got engaged and is looking for the main key vendors for her wedding or she’s towards the tail end and might find a specialty vendor she hadn’t considered before,” Frericks said. “And vendor booths display so perfectly what that vendor is capable of. You’ll find ideas, suggestions and tips just from looking at vendors’ booths.”

And while there will be no traditional fashion show due to crowding issues, keep an eye out for live models walking the floor in wedding attire! Feel free to take pictures of your favorites!

What to Bring

  • Tickets: Purchase online to save money and secure an entrance time slot.
  • Mask: Masks need to be worn throughout the entire building.
  • Pen & paper: To take notes.
  • Address labels: Take this pro tip from Frericks: “It will help from writing your contact info down a bunch, but it also helps with sanitary purposes. No need to pick up a pen when you can just throw a label on a vendor’s contact list.”
  • Planner: To schedule appointments and consultations.
  • Wedding email: It’s so convenient to have all wedding-related emails go to one place.

Tote Bag

All registered brides receive a free tote bag that includes an issue of Today’s Bride magazine and a gift card for a FREE custom print or personalized gift from SymbolizeIt.com! The tote is great for holding all the goodies you’ll receive at the show!

Bride Sash and Signature Glass

Show off your status with a “bride-to-be” sash! For just $5, rock your sash around the show and complete your look with “bride tribe” sashes for all your girls. These are great to reuse for your shower or bachelorette party!
Additionally, for $13, you can snag a signature drink at the show and keep the glass!

What to Expect

Please take your temperature before attending the event and stay home if you are experiencing a fever or flu-like symptoms. Also, please stay home if you are not feeling well or have been in contact with someone who has shown symptoms of COVID-19.

Today’s Bride encourages everyone to practice social distancing (please keep 6 feet. of distance between yourself and others) and obey the following guidelines, which are subject to change:

  • Temperature-screening upon entrance
  • Masks required at ALL TIMES for attendees, vendors and Today’s Bride staff
  • Wider, one-way aisles
  • Sanitizing stations through the show
  • Increased space at the vendor booths to accommodate social distancing (10 feet)
  • Event will have no more than 25% capacity in attendance at one time
  • Increased disinfection and cleaning of public areas throughout the show
  • Extra disposable masks available for those who do not have one

“With these changes to our layout and safety measurements, we’ve seen from the two other shows we’ve done during COVID that the attendees are of great quality – they are there on a mission and ready to make a decision,” Frericks said. “And same goes for the vendors – the vendors that are at the show are quality, great wedding professionals that are ready to make connections with potential clients. Both parties (brides & vendors) are tired of sitting at home having virtual consultations and ready to get back out there face-to-face. It felt like there was more excitement!” (By the way, this is the first trade show back in a convention center in Ohio since the start of the pandemic!)
