Now that the show is over, you\u2019re probably more than a little overwhelmed. Most likely, you have a plethora of photos, piles of brochures and an inbox full of emails. So how do you sort it all out?<\/p>\n

Follow our post-show tips to ensure you get the most from the shows:<\/p>\n

SURF<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>your favorite vendor websites.<\/i><\/span><\/h2>\n

You\u00a0toured their booth, now surf their website. See if the brand voice matches your weddings vibe. Read reviews, check for insurance and check out social media.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

ORGANIZE<\/span>\u00a0your top picks.<\/em><\/h2>\n

Most couples choose the ceremony and reception locations first as their availability often affects the rest of the wedding. Then you can move on to DJs, photographers, videographers, bakers and other vendors. Decide which vendors to contact, and write down any specific questions you have for each one beforehand. Be sure to mention any ideas you have from the pictures or brochures you received at the show. File your second-string choices away for now. You don\u2019t want to toss them just in case your favorite vendors are unavailable or do not meet your needs.<\/p>\n

BEGIN<\/span>\u00a0making appointments<\/em><\/h2>\n

You should set appointments with the vendors you are most serious about right away. While many vendors offer deals that are valid only at the bridal show, some will extend those deals beyond the show. When booking your appointments, be sure to mention that you met them at the bridal show, and ask if these deals are still available. The closer to the show you make your appointment, the better chance of receiving the deal!<\/p>\n

DON\u2019T\u00a0forget to check your email.<\/em><\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n

If you provided your email address to vendors, your inbox is probably filling up. Hopefully you created a special email just for wedding-related correspondence! If you didn\u2019t, don\u2019t worry. You can create a separate address now and forward the emails. That will make it much easier (and less overwhelming!) to sort through wedding and non-wedding messages.<\/p>\n

USE<\/span>\u00a0your freebies.<\/span><\/em><\/h2>\n

All registered brides receive a free tote bag that includes an issue of Today\u2019s Bride magazine. These are great resources so don\u2019t forget to use them!\u00a0Also look through the materials you received from vendors. Take advantage of any freebies here, such as consultations, products and swag.<\/p>\n
