G<\/span>ood news for 2021 brides: Effective March 2, <\/span>Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine lifted the ban<\/span><\/a> on gatherings of more than 300 people for events at banquet centers.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

However, partygoers still need to comply with other health orders. For example, the mask-wearing requirement still applies at banquet centers whether or not food is served.<\/span><\/p>\n

“This has been a very tough year for Ohioans, yet we did what Ohioans always do \u2013 we rallied together to protect the most vulnerable,” DeWine said. “The end of our fight is now in view, but we must continue pressing forward. We can set realistic goals that we are within reach for lifting health orders.”\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Governor DeWine announced that when Ohio reaches 50 cases per 100,000 people for two weeks, all health orders will be lifted. Cases per 100,000 people for a two-week period is a measurement that Governor DeWine and the Ohio Department of Health have utilized since early in the pandemic.\u00a0For comparison, on March 3, <\/span>the state reported 179 cases per 100,000.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Ohio’s stay-at-home order and curfew have been lifted so there are no limits on reception times.<\/span><\/p>\n

However, all public and private gatherings of greater than 10 people occurring outside a single residence and the real estate on which it is located, or an apartment, condominium or dormitory living unit, are still prohibited.<\/span><\/p>\n
