Brandon Peck has worked as a professional videographer for about five years. The Cleveland native started freelancing in 2013 and recently joined Sound Precision Entertainment and Red Frame Videography primarily as a videographer but also as a DJ and photo booth operator.

“My favorite part of the job is telling real stories,” Peck says. “That’s honestly what inspired me to become a filmmaker: Taking life and writing it down. Helping people create a sort of legacy for themselves to look back on or sparking something inside a kid who is just realizing their own. Also, you sometimes get free food.”

All joking aside, SPE and Red Frame have a videographer with a solid background. A Cuyahoga Community College graduate, Peck has served as lead videographer for the Cleveland Foundation, Breakthrough Schools, Cleveland Public Theatre, Rainey Institute, Cleveland Print Room, the Tri-C JazzFest and the Tri-C Creative Arts Academy. He uses top-of-the-line software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom and Illustrator, as well as Red Giant Pluraleyes and Colorista.

Creating lasting images and memories is something Peck does every day. When he isn’t working with the SPE family of companies, he works as a freelance videographer, photographer and editor in the Greater Cleveland area.

“I do a lot of photography, especially street photography,” he says. “It’s become sort of a weekly meditation.”

Peck also enjoys rapping, screenwriting, drawing, writing and attending local open mic nights.

While he is still young, Peck has some ideas on weddings and relationships in general.

“At the wise age of 23, I’d say communication is key to any relationship,” he says. “Without it, connection is lost and the spark that brought you together inevitably goes along with it. Trust each other, and stay open. Listen and hear. Love is only eternal when it’s able to speak.”
