If you’ve been to Crop Bistro & Bar, then you understand the charm of both the restaurant’s menu (you’re probably addicted to the organic popcorn) and its ambiance (it is housed in the historic United Bank and Trust Building).

However, you might not know that the Ohio City venue is available for private events, including weddings, rehearsals and showers. In fact, the restaurant offers five different venues in one building: the Main Dining Room, The Shop, The Executive Dining Room, The Vault and the Skylight Penthouse.

  • The Main Dining Room: Featuring beautiful 35-foot coffered ceilings, The Main Dining Room is the centerpiece of Crop Bistro & Bar. It is ideal for larger events as it can seat up to 200 guests
  • The Shop: A semi-private area of The Main Dining Room, The Shop offers the same soaring 35-foot ceilings in a more intimate setting. This venue can seat 50 guests.
  • The Executive Dining Room: The Executive Dining Room is the same room that bank executives used for meetings between 1925 and 1929. Recently renovated, the venue includes antiques, artwork and a chandelier from the time period and seats 32 guests.
  • The Vault: This room includes the original front and back bank vault doors, which weigh 160,000 pounds combined! Featuring metal walls, sepia photos of Cleveland architectural icons and a small 1,000-pound vault where wealthy customers, including the bank president, stored their valuables, The Vault can seat up to 120 guests.
  • The Skylight Penthouse: Located on the 10th floor of the building, the Skylight Penthouse features floor-to-ceiling windows and a wrap-around terrace that provide breathtaking views of Lake Erie and downtown Cleveland. It can seat 60 guests.

All of the venues include votive candles, white linens, black Chiavari chairs, custom-printed menus, private waitstaff, 60-inch round or large rectangular tables and high-boy tables. Menus vary depending on the venue but feature Crop’s signature farm-to-table American cuisine that utilizes local products. Menus can be vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and dairy-free.

Do I get to meet my DJ?

Of Course! This is your big day, we want you to be comfortable and able to build a rapport with your DJ. We encourage open communication between us and our clients. We can set-up face to face meetings, video calls, and teleconferences.

How do I secure my date?

We ask that when you are ready to book, you give us a signed contract and a $800 deposit. The initial deposit comes off the final balance. After that, you are locked in to your date. Payment plans are available, but we do not require the final balance until a week before your wedding.

Are there any hidden fees?

No. All prices you see include tax, set-up & tear-down, and travel to most places. When paying with credit card there is a 3.8% convenience fee. No fees when paying by check or cash.

Do you work with other vendors?

Yes! While we have partnerships with vendors, we do not require you use them exclusively. You can always book us independently and we’ll ensure that all vendors are on the same page throughout the entire planning process and evening.
