Join Sound Precision Entertainment (and our boutique partners Cuff Link PhotographyRed Frame Videography and Monocle Photo Booth) at the upcoming Cleveland Today’s Bride Show where you can interact with more than 250 Northeast Ohio wedding vendors to find exactly what you need for your big day. The event takes place Saturday, Jan. 25, 12 to 7 p.m., and Sunday, Jan. 26, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the I-X Center in Cleveland. Be sure to stop by our booth to say hi!

We know a bridal show can be overwhelming, especially for first-timers, so take advantage of our years of experience with this list of dos and don’ts, which will ensure you have the best experience possible!

DO know the basic details of your wedding.

You should know your date, bridal party size and approximate number of guests before you head to a show. It is also helpful to select your venue or at least have it narrowed down to a few places. This way, vendors can better let you know their availability and provide more accurate recommendations of their services.

DON’T arrive unprepared.

The Cleveland show has more than 250 vendors, as well as numerous galleries and activities. You most likely won’t be able to see and experience it all so you should organize yourself beforehand. If you already have some vendors in mind, check the exhibitor list to see if they’ll be there. List your must-see booths and cross them off as you visit them to ensure you hit each one. Also bring a list of specific questions you’d like to ask.

DO take notes and pictures.

You can’t be expected to remember everything you saw or discussed at the show. For this reason, it is a great idea to take notes during conversations with vendors and pictures of things you like. You might want to bring someone with you to help you with these tasks so you can focus more on the conversation and experience.

DON’T forget to sign up for prizes and giveaways!

Many vendors will offer special goodies at the show. Take advantage of the freebies and sign yourself up for contests. (You can speed up the process by creating address labels with your name, phone number, email address and physical address so you don’t get a cramp writing it down each time!)

DO attend the fashion show.

The fashion shows are a lot of fun. Besides the latest bridal fashions, there is also music and … seating! Use this time to get off your feet and regroup. While you’re waiting for the show to start, you can re-evaluate your plan and goals for the show, if needed. It’s also a good time to rehydrate and have a snack!

DON’T wait for them to follow up.

Vendors talk to a lot of people at these shows, so it might take them a little while to follow up with you. So, if you need more information or want to book a vendor, don’t hesitate to reach out! And don’t forget to mention you met them at the show; they may honor a special show deal or promotion if you ask nicely.

Just in time for the Today’s Bridal Show, SPE is offering a fantastic bundle deal. Save up to $1,200 with four brands: Sound Precision Entertainment, Cuff Link Photograph, Red Frame Videography and Monocle Photo Booth. For more information, contact SPE at (216) 870-4513 or scott@spedj.com.

How do I secure my date?

We ask that when you are ready to book, you give us a signed contract and a $800 deposit. The initial deposit comes off the final balance. After that, you are locked in to your date. Payment plans are available, but we do not require the final balance until a week before your wedding.

No. All prices you see include tax, set-up & tear-down, and travel to most places. When paying with credit card there is a 3.8% convenience fee. No fees when paying by check or cash.

Do you work with other vendors?

Yes! While we have partnerships with vendors, we do not require you use them exclusively. You can always book us independently and we’ll ensure that all vendors are on the same page throughout the entire planning process and evening.
