Penthouse Events provides the best of both worlds: flawless event-planning services and a beautiful Ohio City venue.

The company’s glassed-in Skylight Penthouse, on top of the United Bank Building on West 25th Street, provides stunning views of Lake Erie, downtown Cleveland and the Cuyahoga River. The 40-by-60-foot space is ideal for 80 seated guests or 125 standing guests. It also features an outdoor terrace, which is available weather-permitting, that can accommodate 20 seated guests or 60 standing guests.

The venue is located on the 10th floor of the building and is wheelchair-accessible. Because it is home to Skylight Financial Group, which maintains regular business hours, the space is available after 6:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and Sundays. Valet is $12 per vehicle.

If you’d rather host your wedding elsewhere, Penthouse Events will help you create an unforgettable experience. Creative Director Ursula Allison has more than 20 years of experience operating restaurants and bars and has managed more than 6,000 events. Additionally, Event Director Julio Molina has more than 20 years of fine-dining and upscale hospitality experience with an attention to detail and commitment to customer service.

Penthouse Events’ chef, David Ina, has a culinary arts degree from Sullivan University in Louisville, Kentucky and a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management from The Ohio State University in Columbus. He owns and operates Zaytoon Lebanese Kitchen in Cleveland’s Playhouse Square neighborhood.

Ina’s menu includes hors d’oeuvres like avocado toast and baba ghanouj bites, stationary items such as local and imported cheeses and charcuterie and three-course meal options that include a variety of salad, entree and dessert options. There are also gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan items. Liquor, wine and beer are your responsibility.

Do I get to meet my DJ?

Of Course! This is your big day, we want you to be comfortable and able to build a rapport with your DJ. We encourage open communication between us and our clients. We can set-up face to face meetings, video calls, and teleconferences.

How do I secure my date?

We ask that when you are ready to book, you give us a signed contract and a $800 deposit. The initial deposit comes off the final balance. After that, you are locked in to your date. Payment plans are available, but we do not require the final balance until a week before your wedding.

Are there any hidden fees?

No. All prices you see include tax, set-up & tear-down, and travel to most places. When paying with credit card there is a 3.8% convenience fee. No fees when paying by check or cash.

Do you work with other vendors?

Yes! While we have partnerships with vendors, we do not require you use them exclusively. You can always book us independently and we’ll ensure that all vendors are on the same page throughout the entire planning process and evening.
